My Mocha Latte Massage
At The Orchid Mauna Lani

By Madelyn Miller, The Travellady

For the cost of about 20 Starbucks Mocha Lattes, you could have your whole body rubbed with coffee and lotions and potions at The Orchid at Mauna Lani and leave relaxed and refreshed in a different way than with a caffeine jolt.

From now on, whenever I have a mocha latte, I will think of my 50 minutes with Don, whose magic fingers gave me the ultimate Hawaii coffee experience while I was visiting The Spa Without Walls in The Orchid at Mauna Lani on the Kohala Coast of the island of Hawaii.

It started with Hawaii’s Big Island Vanilla Coffee Exfoliation Treatment. This is a luxury scrub with an exclusive blend of peaberry coffee beans and orange peel that made my skin feel silky smooth and smell heavenly. Then I went to a shower and rinsed it off (what a waste!) before being rubbed with a vanilla cream lotion. The aroma of the coffee seems to perk you up and the citrus adds a bright note. The vanilla lotion was like the frosting on a cake (which my body was beginning to look like after all the good Hawaii foods) or the cream topping on a latte. Someone should make a perfume out of these wonderful fragrances. I would love to rub it all over my body every day.
